Lamb Burgers
Ingredients
- Lamb Mince (120g)
- Red Onion (1 Medium)
- Garlic (1 Clove)
- Paprika (1.5tsp)
- Curry Powder (Half tsp)
- Brioche Buns (2)
- Lettuce (2 Leaves)
- Ketchup (3tsp)
- Mayonnaise (2tsp)
- Vinegar (Half tsp)
Recipe
(Serves 1)
1. Dice 3/4 of the onion and slice the remain 1/4, and finely cut the garlic.
2. Add the mince to a bowl, followed by the diced onions, garlic, curry powder, paprika, a pinch of salt and pepper.
3. Using your hands, combine everything by squeezing the ingredients. Once everything is combined, half the mixture and form two flat patties and leave aside.
4. In a bowl, add the ketchup, mayonnaise, and vinegar and stir to combine them, then add the sliced onions.
5. Heat a frying pan on medium-high heat and add some oil. When the oil is hot, add the lamb and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the lamb is cooked through.
6. When the lamb has about 1-2 minutes left, lightly toast the buns for 30 seconds.
7. Assemble the burger however you want, using the lamb, lettuce, and sauce.
8. Serve with chips or salad.
